Good student horn
This was my first trombone from way back in 1996. While Blessing is not as well known as Conn or King, they are becoming more popular every day. They aren't as expensive as the King 606, so if you have a rookie who doesn't know if they will continue in band this is the way to go. A good middle school player will outgrow this one, but hold on to it in case they play in a marching band--this horn is a good marching horn.

Great if you want a low quailty instrument
Purchased Trombone in December/January of 2005. Laquer finish is almost completely tarneshed except for bell. Valves are very sticky even if you work on them. Tuning slide for middle valve is very flat sharp even if all pushed in. Hard case, isnt very hard. Its VERY flimsy. Fine mouthpiece. Reccomend normal Trombone mouthpiece. Great buy for the money.

Jazz Studio 3 Valve Trombone Is a good deal.
I've had this horn now for 3 weeks. And am happy with the instrument. Its made in India and has an alright laquer finish with a couple of blemishes. All the slides go in and out smoothly. Valve action seems a bit heavy but workable. (Like a tuba or baritone horn) Tone quality is good.

When I purchased it I thought it may have an actual trombone slide so that you could play it either by valves or by slide. I was wrong. But being a trumpeter by training that didn't bother me very much.
