5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding reliability ...
I bought this card about 18 months ago, and I've taken several thousand pictures with it. It's been taken overseas to experience a humid Scandinavian summer, and it's been used extensively the furnace that some people refer to as southern Arizona. I have several other Sandisk CF cards, and this being one of my oldest ones, I've got "nothing" but good things to say about it (except for the speed). :-)

Pros:
* Durable and extremely reliable - Sandisk is without a doubt the most reliable brand on the market for CF cards.
* Can be found very reasonably priced - usually very good value for money.

Cons:
* Just about the slowest CF card on the market.

Personally, I'm all about reliability. I wouldn't trade my Sandisk cards for any other card, even if the price was lower or performance higher. A card that corrupts your pictures even on rare occations is a useless card in my mind. This or any other of my Sandisk CF cards have never given me any problems. I also have several friends that have used Sandisk CF cards for several years, and between us we've never had any problems with any of our Sandisk CF cards.

I would highly recommend this card, and despite its speed, I would say it's a good buy. Because of its outstanding reliability, I give it 5 stars!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great deal
Buy this.Works well and a good deal for the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works Great.
Camera makers bundle a small amount of memory, in my case 8 MB. It is a must to order more memory. This SanDisk 128 MB CF card has worked great for me. I'm able to store 162 images at the highest setting. This card has worked over and over again, I have had zero problems with this card. It mounts for me in WindowsXP, and MacOS X. Works great with iPhoto, etc...

5-0 out of 5 stars the best storage media
I bought this for my wife's Canon Elph digital camera...It's perfect...she has trouble filling it up!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good buy for the price
I received a 16MB card with mi Nikon Coolpix 2000 which wasn't enough. I purchased this CF card on Amazon and have been very satisfied with the results. I have stored upto 60 pictures and 20 videos before I have had to move it to my computer. There is insignificant lag. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Handy Little Flash Drive
It worked great for me for about a year. The capacity was somewhat constricting but that's what i paid for....Not a good choice if your computer is on the ground.I barely stepped on it and it busted. So its time for an upgrade!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars Until it crashed - wonderful
Had one for just under one year. Worked well with a variety of media: music files, pictures, documents. Moved files back and forth between several pc's without any difficulty. Seemed fairly durable as well. Like with another reviewer, one day it just stopped working. Technical support tried walking me through several steps to no avail. As with any backup or transporting drive, do not have files only on the media. Even if it was still working, if I had lost it.....

1-0 out of 5 stars Unreliable
I've have one of the these and another, more expensive, Lexar flash drive just suddenly die on me, and I've read of others who have had the same experience. If you have one already, don't use it as a 'backup' - only use it to transport files.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great storing device.
This is a great storing device, it works pretty well, and it's simple to use. The only bad thing is that it has a very low storage capacity, 128 megs, but that depends on your needs. If you need few storage and flexibility, this item is for you, but you are a compusilve freak who moves a lot of data some one system to the other,, you better look an item of the same brand, but with bigger capacity.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Technology, Poor Design.
I've had this little keychain device since it came out.Overall I'm satisfied.I think it was worth the six dollars I ended up paying after rebates.

The Bad:

The key ring design isn't very durable. The unit is sealed in two locking pieces of plastic, split down the middle. The part that comprises the key ring is very frail and is actually just two thin pieces of plastic that run next to each other.Needless to say, it broke within the first month.

The clip on the cap broke within the first week.

If your laptop (HP/Compaq?) has an access panel over your USB ports and the ports are vertical, good luck on getting this unit seated properly.

The unit isn't 128MB.That is the raw amount of space; it is formatted to a slightly lower capacity.

The Good:

After falling off my key chain, the drive sometimes gets left in the pants and gets put though a cycle in the wash.I've found it at the bottom of the tub three times and the data is still error free. The USB connector isn't rusted either. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad at all !
I was shopping for a little back-up camera to keep in my case with my 35mm SRL and I had not bought a digital pocket camera and wanted to play with it on the computer and I was amazed at what this little cam could do! clear sharp pic's and eazy to use !besides I got a deal in store at target on discount about $45.00 off retail and that makes me even more happy!not a bad camera and what a deal. chaching!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good amount of space, reliable construction.Affordable.
If you have an Olympus digital camera, get this chip and replace the puny one that shipped with your camera.

The chip is your basic xD memory chip, but it is well built and it hasn't disappointed me yet.You could always go for a chip with a larger capacity, but do you really need to be able to store over 200 pictures?

4-0 out of 5 stars Great price, good discs
Purchased a 50-pack and have been happy with them.Cost is way less than buying them 5 or 10-packs from any of the local stores. Our burner, a Humax TiVo ©, only burns at 2x speed, so we haven't been able to test at the higher speed.Only complaint is that two discs out of the 50 had a small circular "blotch" that caused the recording to fail.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not 4x, actully only 2x
I try server dvd to write on this media, but it cannot reach 4x speed. only 2X. It is miserable.

1-0 out of 5 stars The rumors are true.

2-0 out of 5 stars good durability, burn errors galore
Blank CD-R companies always seem to be a hit or miss. Some have good durabilty, and some have good burning, some (only a few) have both, and some (once again only a few) neither. TDK is the company that has good durability of their CD-Rs, but almost half are errors.

The packaging states "48x", so I burned at 48x on a Buslink drive (52x24x52). It choked, and took 10 minutes for Nero to say "Burn error had failed at 48x". So, I went lower at 32x. Same thing. Then I went to 24x and the thing finally worked. If a package says "48x", I'm expecting 48x, not 24x. Even at times 24x would choke and not burn correctly.

Yes, I do have a few TDK CD-Rs that are 2-3 years old and look almost new compared to the 2-3 month old Sony, but with all these errors, will I ever get to experience that? Try looking at Maxell, Philips, and Samsung.

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst CDRs ever.Stay away!
This is my first review.I was so disgusted with the quality of these CDRs, that I had to write one to warn any future customers.I have used over a hundred Sony CDRs for personal use (pictures, music from CDs and MP3s) for couple of years, and although I cannot say that they are perfect, these are AWFUL.The noises on top of the music, skipping, stopping, some would not be recognized. In short, stay away.

3-0 out of 5 stars Decent CD-R's
These TDK Data CD-R's were okay for me. They work best if you burn them at 48x. The only problem I ran into with these was, they are sensitive. If you get a minor scratch on one of these CD-R's, it may skip. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. I purchased a 50 spindle of these and used them all. None of them were defective.

5-0 out of 5 stars My experience = ZERO error rate
I'm suprised at the earlier review which described problems with this product. I burn CDs like a madman and I have experienced an error rate of virtually zero. I use these for data as well as audio and in all cases these discs perform perfectly. I haven't found one with a manufacturing defect or anything like that. Plus this price cannot be beat.
Seriously, I've gone through at least 1000 of these discs -- they're consistent and dependable.

4-0 out of 5 stars TDK Makes Fine CDRs
I've used almost 400 TDK Brand CDRs and have yet to have any problems. No Errors, and the TDK CDR top is pretty resistant to scratches. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good memory card
This is a good memory card. Earlier I bought an olympus XD card with my camera. But that one suddenly stopped working after 13 months. So I went in for this Sandisk one and it has not given me any problems. Its performance is no different from the one made by olympus. I have not checked if it supports the picture stitch option supported by the olympus cards. I use adobe photoShop elements to stich phots and it works quite well. Overall a good card.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Perfect USB Flash Drive
The Micro has been my favorite flash drive, design and functionally; I have Micros of several sizes from 128MB to 1GB and I intend to get more as the capacity increases.

Apart from the same kudos that I've given the other Micros, this drive was the first one to exceed the capacity of a CD, so that makes this one even better.

This device transfers data to and from devices that support USB Flash drives (computers etc.) very quickly and efficiently, and requires absolutely no drivers in plug-and-play operating systems like Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Mac OS X.Use it as storage for your MP3 player, keep your important documents backed up on it, or even work right the drive--with performance like this, the possibilities are endless. The Micro also supposedly comes with built-in security for each unit, but I've never used it.

The slim 'Micro' physical design also deserves a standing ovation. The actual unit is very short and isn't much wider than a USB port, so it fits anywhere. The cap is pretty smug and when you take it off to use the drive, it fits conveniently on the reverse end.If you loose the cap, it comes with extras, or you can buy them separately. ... Definitely recommend these CD-R's. The price is great for so many CD's. Memorex brand never disappoints. I've been burning with Memorex CD's for a year and while other brands tend to go bad after repeated usage, Memorex CD-R's never fail. Stick with Memorex.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best I've Used
I never thought I would burn a cd without noise on it.I had been using a 4X USB burner with Maxell gold discs, and thought the burner was the problem. Then I got a new computer with a 40X writable burner, and had the same problem, even at only 4X speed.I was about ready to give up on burning music, and I bought these Memorex discs.Perfect burn at 40X.No noise whatsoever.Definitely the best I've ever used, and the only ones I'll use from now on. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Varying quality
My experience is that the quality of this Memorex +RW media varies. I have perhaps burned about 80 of these and about 1-2 in every ten runs into problems. In some cases I was able to use problem DVD:s if I set the burning to ca 4.5 instead of the default 4.7 but sometimes the media could not be used at all.

I use a NEC ND-1300A and I guess the Plextor mentioned is better so it is probable that with a better burner you may fair better (But the NEC is NOT considered to be a low quality burner!).

In the same time I have also burned about 80 TDK media and not run into any problems at all. Not one single problem with the TDK media.
This is my personal experience. A good place with information from others can be found at http://www.videohelp.com/

Burned movies at 4x in Plextor PX712A (firmware ver. 1.03)without any problems.A good choice if you are starting out with a new DVD authoring tool - lets you start all over if the main menu and video editing results aren't what you wanted.Otherwise save more with spindle packaging and go with DVD+/-Rs.

5-0 out of 5 stars Currently, these are RICOHJPN-W11 DVD+RWs
Hello,

As of July 6, 2004, these were the RICOHJPN-W11 DVD+RWs (Note that almost all distributors of DVD and CD recordable blanks, such as Memorex, can and do change their suppliers at any time, so there are no guarantees as to which factory your disks will come from.)

The RICOHJPN-W11 DVD+RWs are high quality media that work well in the NEC ND-2500A burner, and many others as well. You can check whether they are a good choice for your burner by going to cdfreaks dot com or other similar cd/dvd enthusiast sites. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Does not work!!!
I have a Dell Dimension 4700 with NEC ND-3100 DVD+R recorder and it does not record on Memorex but does well on Verbatim .I dont recomend this midia.

1-0 out of 5 stars WARNING
I had no problems burning to these discs, its when I went back a few months later to these discs and found out that none of them work anymore. After further research I found out that Memorex uses the cheapest dye available and thus the DVDs have absolutelly no life to them, my discs started dying after a few months.
In addition, in you physically hold the disc in your hands you can feel how warped physically it has become. This is true for all the discs (about 150 of them). I CAN NOT NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT STRONLY ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars It is Moser Baer MBIPG101R04 8X +R
The quality is about the same as CMC Mag R03 8X +R, not worth 60 cents a piece.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good so far....
I'm on my third spindle of the Memorex 8x dvd+r. The first was a 25pk, second a 15pk and now I have a new 100pk spindle. So far only one coaster. I see a lot of reviewers mentioning the type of burner their using, I don't know if it matters but mine is an NEC 3450A that came with my Dell Dim. 2400. The discs play on my Sony dvd player with minimal read errors. I don't know if the errors I do expereience are from the discs or the player since it is almost 8 years old.

I probably wouldn't recommend these for professional use but for every day home movies, clips & data they should be fine. I'm new to dvd burning and these are the only ones I've used so far. When this spindle is finished I'll try some other brnads to get a feel for what works best. I guess that's the only way to tell.

1-0 out of 5 stars Bad spindles
I've ordered Numerous Memorex DVDs before without a problem but these DVD+R - at least my spindles - have not burned well at all.I would say 80% are not recordable. I have used other DVD+Rs since so I know it's not a software/hardware issue. It's possible I just got a bad spindle...but thought you all should know in case it's a trend. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars John
I have the Canon Rebel.I had the same problem where files were corrupted. Also, when clearing the card, some pics stayed filed.I am not happy with this flashcard at all.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent card for the price
I bought this card for my Canon 20D digital slr and I've been very happy with it.

I got it on sale for $59 after rebates which was an awesome price in March, 2005.

While not the fastest card around, it's been rock solid. Never had a problem. The only time I notice the lack of speed is transferring it off my camera to my PC.

I use a firewire connection, and I can unload the entire card (1gb worth of photos) in 7 minutes.Yah, I could spend a lot more money to cut that time in half, but basically I go get a cup of tea while it's unloading. Most of the time, I'm unloading only a half full card so its a 3 minute wait.

I don't notice the difference in speed while the card is in my camera and I'm taking picture.I don't, however do a lot of 5 fps shooting, nor do I use RAW format much. When I'm shooting the best quality jpegs I never notice any write time to the card because it's all being buffered by my 20D.

I'm hoping Kingston gets a 2gb card happening, on sale, for under $100 and I buy one of those.

Kingston, most underrated buy in the compact flash world, as far as I'm concerned.

1-0 out of 5 stars Went bad after 4 months
What more can I say; the card received moderate use in a Canon 300D, and has developed areas where any pictures written there are corrupted. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Warning: Does not work with Olympus as Advertised
The description listed specifically says "Embedded Panorama feature for digital cameras with panoramic functionality."This is wrong. This card does not support Olympus camera panoramic features.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't bother ordering here.Item sent not as advertised-
Pictured is the Olympus-branded xD memory card. Right? Same is also pictured on the printed SanDisk insert. But, what you'll actually get is the Fuji-branded xD memory card which is cheaper because it is specifically NOT panoramic capable.

Item appears to have been switched by either Amazon or it's source and plastic re-sealed bu glue or heat.

Someone trying to "stick" Amazon with a swap?Possible.I sent a note to Customer Service to alert them of the error. They said "sorry" from India and would correct and resend. Guess what....I got another pack with the same erroneous Fuji memory card.

In my book, this is called "bait and switch" and I believe it's illegal in most States.Do I dare let Amazon "fix" this error again? What do you think?

1-0 out of 5 stars xD Picture Cards - EL STINKO
The mfgr's promo text says it's fast, but anyone who's ever done even an informal test knows it's dog-slow. In fact, xD is THE slowest-reading/writing media still developed. It's also one of the (if not THE) most expensive per MB, along with Sony's "Memory Stick" (now branching out into even more costly "Pro", "Secure" and "Select" subformats, hopefully helping to wake Sony-worshipers up (Sony is no longer king, folks; the 90's are LONG over. Keep an eye on Samsung - but that's another review - for the best these days).

xD's one benefit: It's small; almost TOO small, and really easy to lose, only coming in black. Fuji and Olympus are the ones to blame, clearly hoping to retain unwitting users who end up forced into xD's incompatibility and expense with one of both mfgrs' wide selection of xD-only digicams. Olympus briefly made cameras with both xD and SmartMedia compatibility, hoping the 128MB limit of SM would funnel users toward xD. Most of those users, to Olympus' dismay, chose five or six SmartMedia cards because they were cheap, and because they could at least be read by most (if not all) media readers, unlike xD, which even now very few readers bother to support.

Oddly enough, Secure Digital (SD) is almost as small, and is one of the FASTEST reading and writing formats in active development. Lots of cameras, MP3 players and other media devices use SD. What uses xD Picture Cards? Cameras. Fuji and Olympus cameras, to be exact. Nothing else of any real popularity. It's unfortunate, but there are a lot of consumer digicam owners who have been humped into a format that has no good reason to exist.

Advice: If you bought a digicam without extensive knowledge of formats as many have done, watch and wait for deep rebates before buying your xD card(s) and be sure to get an xD card branded by the same mfgr as your camera, as (at least with Olympus) any other manufacturer's xD card (even Fuji) won't allow the 'Panoramic' mode to be used. Believe it or not, the camera actually checks the card for the Olympus header information and makes 'Panoramic' mode unavailable if it's not there. Is there any legitimate reason for this? No. None whatsoever. If panoramic photos aren't important to you, at least you've got a few other choices. If underhanded mfgr tactics are unacceptable to you, remember this when you're shopping for your next digicam.

For that matter, when you're shopping for your next digicam, look for fast and cheap media support from mfgrs that attract customers with innovation, compatibility and performance instead of the ones who rope new users and then attempt to chain them up in the backyard using format-inertia. As an illustration of lack of faith in their own format, even Olympus and Fuji know better than to cripple their top-shelf Prosumer/SLR digicams with the all-around speed and price loser that is xD; Both companies' best cameras ALL use CompactFlash, the oldest, cheapest-per-MB, highest-capacity and most popular format. For best speed, compatibility and prices, make your next camera one that uses CompactFlash or SD (Secure Digital) cards. If you enjoy your xD camera (as I once did), take solace knowing that rebates are offered quite regularly. Watch out for them and take advantage!

5-0 out of 5 stars Rate the product, not the service or price!
The xD format is an excellent option for digital camera storage. Why? Speed/Size/Storage Capacity

The xD-Picture Card has one of the fastest read/write speeds on the market. Higher speeds can greatly enhance the user's experience with a product. For example, a photographer can take new pictures or view existing images more quickly with the xD-Picture Card media than with other, slower media formats.

The xD-Picture Card was designed to use minimal power. Users will benefit from the convenience and savings of longer battery life on a single charge.

Small size (about the size of a penny), means smaller devices with lots of storage (512MB available now and plans to go to 8GB!)

I like this format (I've used CF and SmartMedia) and appreciate new technology.

1-0 out of 5 stars Shipped wrong product & didn't refund shiping

3-0 out of 5 stars misprint
I think that it is supposed to say "21 minute" not "210 minute" in case anyone else was confused about that. And it should probably be changed.I just did three stars because I have no feelings about the product either way being that I did not buy it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Compact and convienient
I've been using these disks for all manner of uses for quite some time now...they're great for putting your resume and other info onto and bringing to job interviews, for example....and have yet to have come across any of the disk/data corruption issues mentioned.

1-0 out of 5 stars Shameful and Degrading
Let me start by correcting the name of the product. It is a 210 MB / 24 minute CD-R spindle.I went to Europe with my CD Mavica and this exact item.It is now a little over a month after my return, and several disks (containing our trip to London and a friend's wedding) no longer work in my computer or camera. It seems the data is degrading from the disks. Luckily, we gave copies of the wedding pictures to the bride, so we'll get those back.London, however is only captured in memory anymore.I should have known.Memorex. . .memory + ex."ex" comes from the Latin for "out of, from."You get the picture.Unless you took it with a memorex disk.

5-0 out of 5 stars De lo Mejor
Son Excelentes. Sobre todo por su tamaño. Lo unico malo es que les son dificiles de conseguir las cajas o los sobres.
