Good dvd-rw
These are the only reliable disks I have found.I began a collection of Friends on my dvd-rws.I have over 25 disks full so far and only had minimal problems with 1 or 2 disks.I rewatch all my favorite episodes, of which I have over 100 and have no problems.These are the best!

Memorex (Forget it) Dysfunctional Software
Reads as Audio file (from a fresh disk.)Windows Media Pops up when disk is first inserted. Huh?

No matter which Memorex you use none of them work. I tried 3 versions of DVD+RW
Disk played DVD R's from Verbatim but spit Memorex out like tobacco.

This company never ceases to amaze me with the mistakes in their products from CD's to DVD's . You want to know the most popular brand on the shelf? Start by seeing the brand that's missing the most. If the shelf is over-stocked with Memorex, then it's pretty obvious people aren't buying them for a reason. Say your prayers, or buy a tent and camp outside of the store. Waste of money.

Flawless recording with Sharp DV-SR3U
Just a quick note that these discs work flawlessly in my Sharp DV-SR3U recorder.And when I record+finalize in "Video" mode (not "VR" mode), they play back perfectly on all of my friends' and relatives' DVD players.

I recently tried cheaper DVD-RW media from TDK, but my recorder rejected them.And yes, I know the difference between -RW and +RW.Apparently, "data" media and "video" media are distinct, even though both are labelled as "DVD-RW".Video recorders like mine want video media like this.Caveat emptor!

Not universally compatable !!
I have used this _RW with my Sanyo DVD recorder. The result is that I cound not play the recording. It wil freeze up. and some times they can not be formatted. They will not function well if they are used for the VR mode. I have used other brands such as TDK or Fuji. they are OK.

These will crack your CD's!!!

You cannot beat a Belkin Cable
Great quality, excellent construction and strong RJ45 plugs.I have worked with a decent share of Cat5 and I have never had to cutand terminate a Belkin cable due to regular wear and tear.

Outstanding reliability ...
I bought this card about 18 months ago, and I've taken several thousand pictures with it. It's been taken overseas to experience a humid Scandinavian summer, and it's been used extensively the furnace that some people refer to as southern Arizona. I have several other Sandisk CF cards, and this being one of my oldest ones, I've got "nothing" but good things to say about it (except for the speed). :-)

Pros:
* Durable and extremely reliable - Sandisk is without a doubt the most reliable brand on the market for CF cards.
* Can be found very reasonably priced - usually very good value for money.

Cons:
* Just about the slowest CF card on the market.

Personally, I'm all about reliability. I wouldn't trade my Sandisk cards for any other card, even if the price was lower or performance higher. A card that corrupts your pictures even on rare occations is a useless card in my mind. This or any other of my Sandisk CF cards have never given me any problems. I also have several friends that have used Sandisk CF cards for several years, and between us we've never had any problems with any of our Sandisk CF cards.

I would highly recommend this card, and despite its speed, I would say it's a good buy. Because of its outstanding reliability, I give it 5 stars!!!

Works Great.
Camera makers bundle a small amount of memory, in my case 8 MB. It is a must to order more memory. This SanDisk 128 MB CF card has worked great for me. I'm able to store 162 images at the highest setting. This card has worked over and over again, I have had zero problems with this card. It mounts for me in WindowsXP, and MacOS X. Works great with iPhoto, etc...

Handy Little Flash Drive
It worked great for me for about a year.The capacity was somewhat constricting but that's what i paid for....Not a good choice if your computer is on the ground.I barely stepped on it and it busted.So its time for an upgrade!!!!

Until it crashed - wonderful
Had one for just under one year. Worked well with a variety of media: music files, pictures, documents. Moved files back and forth between several pc's without any difficulty. Seemed fairly durable as well. Like with another reviewer, one day it just stopped working. Technical support tried walking me through several steps to no avail. As with any backup or transporting drive, do not have files only on the media. Even if it was still working, if I had lost it.....

Unreliable
I've have one of the these and another, more expensive, Lexar flash drive just suddenly die on me, and I've read of others who have had the same experience. If you have one already, don't use it as a 'backup' - only use it to transport files.

Great storing device.
This is a great storing device, it works pretty well, and it's simple to use. The only bad thing is that it has a very low storage capacity, 128 megs, but that depends on your needs. If you need few storage and flexibility, this item is for you, but you are a compusilve freak who moves a lot of data some one system to the other,, you better look an item of the same brand, but with bigger capacity.

Great Technology, Poor Design.
I've had this little keychain device since it came out.Overall I'm satisfied.I think it was worth the six dollars I ended up paying after rebates.

The Bad:

The key ring design isn't very durable.The unit is sealed in two locking pieces of plastic, split down the middle.The part that comprises the key ring is very frail and is actually just two thin pieces of plastic that run next to each other.Needless to say, it broke within the first month.

The clip on the cap broke within the first week.

If your laptop (HP/Compaq?) has an access panel over your USB ports and the ports are vertical, good luck on getting this unit seated properly.

The unit isn't 128MB.That is the raw amount of space; it is formatted to a slightly lower capacity.

Great price, good discs
Purchased a 50-pack and have been happy with them.Cost is way less than buying them 5 or 10-packs from any of the local stores.Our burner, a Humax TiVo ©, only burns at 2x speed, so we haven't been able to test at the higher speed.Only complaint is that two discs out of the 50 had a small circular "blotch" that caused the recording to fail.

good durability, burn errors galore
Blank CD-R companies always seem to be a hit or miss. Some have good durabilty, and some have good burning, some (only a few) have both, and some (once again only a few) neither. TDK is the company that has good durability of their CD-Rs, but almost half are errors.

The packaging states "48x", so I burned at 48x on a Buslink drive (52x24x52). It choked, and took 10 minutes for Nero to say "Burn error had failed at 48x". So, I went lower at 32x. Same thing. Then I went to 24x and the thing finally worked. If a package says "48x", I'm expecting 48x, not 24x. Even at times 24x would choke and not burn correctly.

Yes, I do have a few TDK CD-Rs that are 2-3 years old and look almost new compared to the 2-3 month old Sony, but with all these errors, will I ever get to experience that? Try looking at Maxell, Philips, and Samsung.

Worst CDRs ever.Stay away!
This is my first review.I was so disgusted with the quality of these CDRs, that I had to write one to warn any future customers.I have used over a hundred Sony CDRs for personal use (pictures, music from CDs and MP3s) for couple of years, and although I cannot say that they are perfect, these are AWFUL.The noises on top of the music, skipping, stopping, some would not be recognized.In short, stay away.

Decent CD-R's
These TDK Data CD-R's were okay for me. They work best if you burn them at 48x. The only problem I ran into with these was, they are sensitive. If you get a minor scratch on one of these CD-R's, it may skip. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. I purchased a 50 spindle of these and used them all. None of them were defective.

My experience = ZERO error rate
I'm suprised at the earlier review which described problems with this product. I burn CDs like a madman and I have experienced an error rate of virtually zero. I use these for data as well as audio and in all cases these discs perform perfectly. I haven't found one with a manufacturing defect or anything like that. Plus this price cannot be beat.
Seriously, I've gone through at least 1000 of these discs -- they're consistent and dependable.

Easy to use, and pretty powerful
Given that this is a stripped down version of some of Sonic Foundry's more powerful (and expensive) professional tools, Acid Music 3.0 is still a pleasant surprise.I had it set up on my computer within ten minutes, and with very little tutoring from the instruction guide, was able to browse to the music loop library, "paint" out loops on the multi-track display, modify loop characteristics like reverb and bass, and so forth.Obviously, Acid Music 3.0 doesn't easily stand alone.This software cannot generate its own unique loops, so I wound up having to find a MIDI program that would let me create original loops for making truly original music.But as a non-musician who hosts a radio program and is a bona fide electronic music fan, Acid Music 3.0 made it super easy to assemble my MIDI tracks into pretty good sounding pieces.I would recommend this program to anyone, musician or non-musician, interested in breaking into the world of digital computer music creation.It's been almost three months since my wife gave me my copy as a gift, and I've managed to put together many different kinds of pieces of music, using both original content and the great loops that come with the program.It's a lot of fun, and has me hungering to see what more I can do with the thing.

I discovered this software by accident, while window shopping, and I ended up buying it and taking it home.I was able to get it up and running pretty quickly, and was creating my own music right out of the box.Of course it takes some time, but this program makes it possible to make some pretty good music in your spare time.Add a mic to your computer,and you can pretty much turn your computer into a recording/editing studio, make your own music and burn it to CD.Sounic Foundry also makes it easy to publish your work to the web, by providing an online community of Acid music-makers who review and comment on one anothers' work.You can also listen to music published by other users.Even if you're just a musical legend in your own living room, this makes it easy and fun to become just that.Sound Forge also sells music loops on CD especially for Acid, but you can find lots of free loops on the web that also work.Sound Forge also provides weekly samples for free on their Acid Planet website.

The best of the ACID Music series.
This one is definately the best out of all of the previous ACID Music programs.It has a ton of loops, a really cool looking skin, and much more options than in ACID 1.0 or 2.0.It comes with two CDs.One of them has the application on it with some loops and the other CD has nothing but loops and demo songs!It has over 1,600 unique loops!Definately a good buy for those who really liked any of the previous ACID Musics.

Good memory card
This is a good memory card. Earlier I bought an olympus XD card with my camera. But that one suddenly stopped working after 13 months. So I went in for this Sandisk one and it has not given me any problems. Its performance is no different from the one made by olympus. I have not checked if it supports the picture stitch option supported by the olympus cards. I use adobe photoShop elements to stich phots and it works quite well. Overall a good card.

The Perfect USB Flash Drive
The Micro has been my favorite flash drive, design and functionally; I have Micros of several sizes from 128MB to 1GB and I intend to get more as the capacity increases.

Apart from the same kudos that I've given the other Micros, this drive was the first one to exceed the capacity of a CD, so that makes this one even better.

This device transfers data to and from devices that support USB Flash drives (computers etc.) very quickly and efficiently, and requires absolutely no drivers in plug-and-play operating systems like Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Mac OS X.Use it as storage for your MP3 player, keep your important documents backed up on it, or even work right the drive--with performance like this, the possibilities are endless.The Micro also supposedly comes with built-in security for each unit, but I've never used it.

Definitely recommend these CD-R's. The price is great for so many CD's. Memorex brand never disappoints. I've been burning with Memorex CD's for a year and while other brands tend to go bad after repeated usage, Memorex CD-R's never fail. Stick with Memorex.

Varying quality
My experience is that the quality of this Memorex +RW media varies. I have perhaps burned about 80 of these and about 1-2 in every ten runs into problems. In some cases I was able to use problem DVD:s if I set the burning to ca 4.5 instead of the default 4.7 but sometimes the media could not be used at all.

I use a NEC ND-1300A and I guess the Plextor mentioned is better so it is probable that with a better burner you may fair better (But the NEC is NOT considered to be a low quality burner!).

In the same time I have also burned about 80 TDK media and not run into any problems at all. Not one single problem with the TDK media.

Burned movies at 4x in Plextor PX712A (firmware ver. 1.03)without any problems.A good choice if you are starting out with a new DVD authoring tool - lets you start all over if the main menu and video editing results aren't what you wanted.Otherwise save more with spindle packaging and go with DVD+/-Rs.
