The width of the stand adjusts to accomodate instruments as small as 23.5" long, or as long as about 44". The ledges that hold the instrument are 16" long (so that an instrument up to 16" wide will fit completely on the ledge). With the side pieces in the "low" position, height is 10" from the floor to the ledge (including the wheels).
