Great tuning tool - essential for good sound
I generally use the Rhythm Tech Memo Key (ASIN B0002E2EOE) to tune my heads, but this one is as good and has a feature I like more than the Rhythm Tech model - this tuning key clicks and disengages when the dialed-in torque is attained whereas the Rhythm Tech model requires you to reset a lever.

It is simple to use.All you do is hand tighten your lugs, set the dial on the key to an initial setting, then go around your drum in the standard opposing tightening pattern.Test, and increase the dial setting until you get the sound you want. Once you do achieve the sound I strongly recommend that you write the settings down so you can quickly dial in your preferred tuning the next time you tune your drums or change heads.

A few things to consider: tuning involves more than just the batter side heads, which is especially true in the case of snare drums.Unless you are seeking a flat sound, do not tune the resonant heads to the same torque as the batter side heads, else the heads will cancel each other out because they will be vibrating at the same frequency.Also, make sure your lugs are lightly oiled so that each has uniform resistance or the torque settings will be inaccurate. Finally, if you cannot get the sound you are looking for between setting increments (i.e., between dial setting #3 and #4), use a standard key and try one eigth turn increments.

This pedal is a great buy for the quality and features it offers.It has a base-plate for stability,a horizontal frame brace below the rocker shaft for strength,an easy-access hoop clamp wing nut and a double chain drive.The footboard has no toe-stop,but this is actually better because most toe-stops are seldom in a good place and usually non-adjustable and non-removable.As for build quality,its good,even the hinge between the footboard and heel plate doesnt have much side-to-side play which is great.The heel plate and footboard are made of good quality cast aluminum comparable to most pedals of other brands.For a third-party chinese-built pedal the overall quality is quite good.An awesome value for $30.00 ... Pro quality
Although I received a great cymbal bag as a bonus when I purchased a set of Zildjian ZBT cymbals (ASIN B0002ZO3L0), that bag would not hold my treasured Avedis Zildjian 22" ride.This bag, however, will hold cymbals up to 22", and has some features such as dividers and a separate hi-hat compartment to ensure that each cymbal is well protected.

It can hold a lot of cymbals too.Using my Tama Stagestar kit as an example, when I take that kit with me I have a pair of 13" hi-hats, 22" and 19" rides, a 20" sizzle, an 18" crash/ride, 16" and 14" crashes, and 10" and 8" splashes. That's a lot of cymbals and they all fit into this bag. More importantly, the combined weight of my cymbals is heavy and the bag does not strain or tear.

If you are using cymbals no larger than 20", are carrying six to eight cymbals, and are not constantly transporting them, you may find that the basic Zildjian case (ASIN B0002D0HNK) to be more than adequate.

An interesting side note is the fact that I got this case because I needed to protect my 22" ride, while the case is designed per Steve Gadd's specifications. Gadd - arguably one of the greatest living drummers - rarely uses cymbals over 18" (typically Zildjian K Constantinople series).I know of only one configuration where he was observed to use a 19" K series.

Good for those on a budget
This is a great bag for anyone who has 22" cymbals, but is constrained by budget.It's basically a slightly larger version of the 20" bag Zildjian offers (see ASIN B0002D0HNK), and shares the same strengths and weaknesses with the smaller bag.

Strengths: well constructed, sufficiently so to support the heavy weight of a bag full of cymbals, and comes with a detachable strap and built-in carrying handles.

Weaknesses: no dividers, so you will need to use cloth or plastic covers for each of your cymbals to protect them. Second, there is only a single compartment, which means that your smaller splash and your hi-hat cymbals are going to get mixed in with larger ride and crash cymbals.

Even if you are on a budget, I recommend that you consider the Zildjian Gadd Session Cymbal Bag (ASIN B0002D0FXM), which has none of the weaknesses cited above, and is not significantly higher in cost. ... Read more

Good entry level case
For the price you cannot beat this case, which can hold up to ten cymbals as large as 20".

It is well constructed, sufficiently so to support the heavy weight of a bag full of cymbals, and comes with a detachable strap and built-in carrying handles.
