1-0 out of 5 stars WARNING! WARNING!
WARNING TO ANYONE BUYING THIS PRODUCT! I had these headphones for 3 1/2 months. Until then they worked great. But, one day they just stopped working.

5-0 out of 5 stars out of this world
by far one of my better investments. they've become a part of my head and its non-stop beats being delivered at high decibel and crisp clean sound. and best of all... batteries included lol

1-0 out of 5 stars Not happy.
I first noticed after opening the package of my brand new skullcandy crushers that they were cheaply made. I know from previously bought headphones that there are better items out there. After 4 weeks , I noticed that on certain bass audio there was distortion on the bass. I cant listen with out a crackle on the bass anymore. These headphones are cheap and not worth the 90 dollars I paid.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best bass I've ever heard in headphones
I've been trying lots of headphones for the past six months, but these definitely are the best. Midrange sounds come clear on the headphones, even though they're not loud. Some bass frequencies seem to be just left out in the amplification, but most of the bass just pumps through really nicely. The headphones vibrate like a real subwoofer and the sound is comparable to listening to music in a club or a loud car. The good thing about these is that you get a lot of bass but do not burst your ears with loudness for that. They sound good on my ipod and have a lot of bass even on low volumes. They are also pretty good at shielding outside noise and are very comfortable to wear.
Pros:
amazing bass
good noise shielding
almost no sound leaks out if you wear them
comfortable
cool-looking

cons:
somewhat costly
not very sturdy/might break easily
build quality (at least the plastic part) is not at par with Sony/Philips/Senheiser

4-0 out of 5 stars Skullcandy-licious
If you love, love, love your bass to go boom, these are for you. But look around for Crushers in the $40-50 range because, while the bass is big, the headphone construction is on the :cough: cheap :cough: side and mid-range audio sometimes falls away to a whisper. Skullcandy could sell Crushers by the truckload at $30. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars HP-NCII - Good only for certain applications
I read other people about Maxell HP-NC1 and decided to buy HP-NCII ($29.99). Here're the short list of what I have tested.
a/ Normal/Quite environment - When the noise cancelling (NC)is on, the white noise is quite noticeable and there's no effect to other people talks. I feel better listening to the music with the NC off.
b/ Snow blower and lawn mower - At slow speed setting, there's little different when the NC is on or off. But at high speed setting, the NC will block off the loud noise level significantly; the noise level coming through is about the same as the slow speed setting.
c/ Vacuum machine (12Amp) - there's no effect to the vacuum machine's whistling noise.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good value but you get what you pay for
I have now used these headphones on a few flights and have found the following:

1. They help versus not using them, i.e. they make a difference
2. Battery life is very good
3. Price is great!
4. They are *not* very comfortable. My ears hurt after wearing them for the whole flight (longer than 5 hours)

Overall, if you don't want to spend a lot of money on such gadgets, get this one.If you want the best, get the Bose one!

4-0 out of 5 stars Amazing technologi, less good comfort....
These relatively inexpensive noice-cancelling headphones really does its job well, remarkable how it reduces the cabin noice on a Boing 747 by at least 50%. It's actually possible with these to follow a movie being shown and understand all that's being said without too much concentration. As for the sound quality, they're probable nothing fancy but they produce a good deal more bass than your standard in-flight headset. My only problem with these is the comfort issue. After 1-2 hour of wearing my ears gets red/annoyed. This is because they rest on the ear itself where I would've preferred an over-the-ear solution. I am happy I got them however, great value for the money, the Sony solution is way WAY more expensive and I just need them for an occational movie in flight.

3-0 out of 5 stars Work well, good value, mechanically weak
These are inexpensive and work well with airline audio systems, computers, walkmans.Battery life is excellent, at least 20 hours on a set of batteries. However, mechanically, these headphones are flimsy. The earcups twist for storage, but if stressed, they will break off. They can be repaired, if you don't mind using epoxy glue and wrapping up the break with wire, and not having the twist capability anymore.

4-0 out of 5 stars Can't be beat for [price]
I wear headphones while at work because I sit in a project room, listening mostly to MP3s on my laptop.Since other people's conversations can get loud at times, the noise cancellation is a bonus. It doesn't entirely drown them out, but it definitely makes things less distracting.

The volume switch on my set isn't well built.Sliding it back and forth can cause you to lose volume in one ear only, especially at lower volume levels. The headphones fit really tight, so I recommend bending them a bit at the top to make them more comfortable. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Same as Etymotic Research ER-6
This is a pair of Etymotic Research ER-6 in a different brand and packaging. I got mine from eBay, much cheaper than what one would normally pay for ER-6, but after a few months of usage, I had some noise problem. I called in Etymotic, and they gave me an RMA, got it serviced quickly.

The design of the case differs somewhat, but as long as you get the same super-quality earphones and good services that one would expect from ER-6, I know you'd be pleased. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Problematic
Well, I bought these headphones and loved them at first, but only two weeks later they started having problems. The right earphone became significantly quiter then the left, and now the left earphone shorts down at the jack (if i wiggle it around enough i can get it too work, but i have to hold it. The bass isn't really all it's worked up to be from the package, but its not bad either. One listen to John Mayer's "Clarity" at a decent volume level and they will distort, and they dont cancel anysound what so ever. They seem to let more noise in than most smaller headphones (I know they're not "noise-canceling" but they let in a LOT of noise).

However, the sound quality is decent and they are fairly comfortable; a, little big actually. Maybe they are worth the money though, because they have a lifetime warranty and can be replaced for 6 bucks plus what you pay to ship them there, and you get little crappy ones with them. I guess you can't expect much from 20 dollar headphones... save up and buy some nice ones (Senneheiser 212 Pro) 2x the price, but 100 times better.

Just save the recipt and box and return them if you are having problems.

5-0 out of 5 stars Comfort
For the price, this is a marvel of comfort: soft, smooth padding around the ears and a broad, flexible headband. The wire too is flexible and long. The sound is clear and the sound isolation excellent. I'm no audiophile - simply a happy customer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
These are excellent headphones. It has a long cord so you can actually have room between you and you're CD Player. And the headphones are huge so you don't have these little cover things and you can barely hear out of them. Excellent 100%

4-0 out of 5 stars decent quality at a decent price
If you're looking for some good quality headphones but don't want to spend a lot on top-of-the-line quality, the Koss UR15C headphones are definitely a good choice. The sound is far clearer and the bass is much deeper than in any other economy-priced headphones I've tried... overall they're comparable to other headphones in around the $40 price mark.

The adjustable size headset has plenty of sizes to choose from and importantly, it doesn't slip from one size to the next when you're wearing them. The ear covers are large and you can fit your whole ear inside the headphone (I hate when it sits on your ear, instead of covering it). My only gripe is the cheap stretchy covering on the headphone padding... in any other headphones I've owned, that stuff wears away quickly and starts to tear and fall off... not a huge problem but a mild annoyance. But for $20, you can't expect the highest quality for everything here.

Overall, I give these Koss headphones a 4 out of 5 rating. Good middle-of-the-road choice. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A great headphone -- if it's your sound
The Grado SR325 has now been replaced by the 325i -- recognizable by its goldilsh-silver aluminim styling. More modern-looking than the other phones in the Presige line, it's a solidly built piece of gear that's made to last for a long time.

After breaking them in, the distinctive Grado sound asserts intself. Prominent, flexible bass predominates somewhat over the powerful mid-highs, making this an outstanding rock'n'roll headphone. But classical music fares well, too; you'll notice detail while enjoying the power of the recording. The 325i easily powers a portable CD player, and sounds wonderful wtih an iPod (especially if you play around with the iTunes presets).

It's only after about five or so days of break-in that the sound truly starts to coalesce. (All top-quality headphones benefit from break-in, which means leaving the headphones connected to a medium-volume audio source; some leave them connected all day and night for weeks. This allows the headphone's speaker diaphragms to loosen and play more easily.) These phones have a prominent low, detailed middles (with a slight hump), and highs that sometimes push a little too hard.

The earpads can make a big difference. The phones come with "bowl" pads, thick foam rubber cushions that fit just on the ear. These allow the clearest audio presentation, though some wear them slightly above the ear and to the back for the most accurate sound. The "flat" pads bring the speaker drivers much closer to the ear, accenting the bass and smoothing out the 325i's highs. Both styles have their fans, but Grado ships the phones with the pads (bowls) they think work best. Your ears should be the judge.

The 325i's color the sound to achieve a result that works best with harder pop music and reggae, while fans of classical and jazz might find the lighter Senn style more to their liking. But the 325s have a lot of versatility, and are also likely to please people who have eclectic tastes. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Yes - They Really Do Break
The reviewer before summed up these headphones and their shortcomings wonderfully so I simply want to add my voice to his comments. They DO BREAK; I guess I'm lucky in that mine lasted for just over a year. They sound FANTASTIC, the best I've used, but I've just written Pioneer to try and have them replaced. For $120 pair of phones I should be listening to these 10 years from now, not looking for gobs of tape and super glue just to listen to them only 1 year later. I havea feeling that if you reinforced that area with some tape they'd not break, or at least not for quite a while... kind of silly, but yeah, they sound GREAT.

The sound, fit, and function is perfect for DJing.Exceptionally tight bass that poo poos all over anything by Sony (700, V6/7506, 7509), Korg, or Ixos, and the mids and highs are nicely balanced. There's a slight (and I do mean slight) excess of bass, but it's in a way that lends itself to mixing and is never muddy and muffled.Etymotic's high end in-ear stuff obviously does better on the bass (as well as everywhere else) but that's a different beast.Unfortunately, the 1000's break.First thing to go is usually the slide joint. You'll notice they keep slipping on one side (left usually) and tightening the screw will eventually strip it.The solution is to superglue the sliders (open them up completely) then tape the outside with scotch tape, which is nearly invisible.A perfect solution, assuming you won't ever get to adjust the size again to anyone else's head. However, that's not the biggest problem. The plastic between the ball joint and the horseshoe shaped piece that contacts the driver housing will eventually crack and break completely. This usually occurs on the right side more, though by that time you'll see cracking on the left, too.It can happen out of nowhere one day and is catastrophic. For the price, this is totally unacceptable construction on Pioneer's part. They have been replacing them like gangbusters to people who have the problem, but you pay the shipping cost and there's no end to the number of headphones you'll go through. As far as I know, they haven't fixed it.Mine just went after only about 6 months. There are people on the Pioneer forum on their 5th one. They sound that good and work that well for DJing, but at this point I'm about ready to try the Senn 25.I've been to Numark hell and back about 11 times, and I don't want to start another cycle with a different product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pioneer never disappoints!
I've had these pair of headphones for about a week now and I can't find anything wrong with them or to complain about. The bass, mids, and highs are all outstanding. I've tested this product with various styles of music just to hear the bass and treble levels, and I'm amazed at how clear the sound is even at the highest level of volume. As for noise cancelling it is perfect for filtering all outside distractions. Once these headphones are on, you're basically in you're own little world literally! I've been a Pioneer products customer for years, and their products have not dispoointed me yet. This just shows how much quality goes into a Pioneer product. Whether you're a Professional DJ or just an avid music listener these headphones they will not disappoint you! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for!
This mic is ok for little kids. But it is very fuzzy. I gave it many chances now I'm returning it.

2-0 out of 5 stars Do not use unless you have a Line IN input
This microphone in theory, is a good deal. However, like most people, I have a karaoke player with only microphone inputs and this microphone performed poorly (fuzzy). And I am not about to go out and buy a new karaoke machine just for this wireless microphone, so it only gets 2 stars from me.The cords are not very long either, so you can't move the receiver very far from the karaoke machine either.

Too bad, affordable wireless microphones are hard to find (outside of the low-quality ones offered on ebay). If most karaoke players had line inputs, I would give this particular mic 4 out of 5 stars.

3-0 out of 5 stars Here's an in-depth review of this wireless mic
I work professionally as an audiovisual technician, and grabbed this mic on the cheap because I throw an annual karaoke event using mostly wired equipment; I'm accustomed to using high-end Shure wireless kits from day to day, but I can't afford those for my little shindigs!

My first impression is that this is not a bad product for the money at all.The transmitter (microphone) takes one nine-volt battery, while the receiver (base) can either be plugged into an outlet or fitted with a pair of AA batteries. The manual doesn't specify battery life, and I haven't stress tested that part yet. The kit comes with a patch cord that is 1/8-inch "mini" to quarter-inch.The mini end plugs into the base.

The range of the microphone is 7 meters, about 21 feet. The microphone works best when you're line-of-sight with the base (i.e. you're facing it), though I was able to get the microphone to transmit from my living room to my study-- only 15 feet, but around 2 corners.Be warned that if you like to dance and twirl or are otherwise not mostly facing the receiver, you'll experience some audio dropouts. It's not a big deal-- there aren't any horrible bursts of static-- but your voice will be momentarily muted.Placing the microphone base at the edge of the stage, with a cord run to the machine or mixer, would almost certainly minimize or eliminate audio dropouts.

Another reviewer has complained that this mic is 'fuzzy.'I don't find that to be true, BUT BUT BUT-- the microphone outputs a line level signal, rather than the more common microphone level signal.Line level is lower-impedance and higher-level-- very generally speaking, a LOUDER signal than mic level, so if you make the mistake of plugging this microphone into a microphone-level input-- which many mixers and karaoke machines use primarily for microphones-- you'll undoubtedly encounter 'fuzziness', really just heavy distortion. If you get one of these, make sure you plug it into a LINE INPUT on your karaoke machine or mixer.

My tech-head brain still has a couple of questions about this unit, though. You can't change the frequency on either the mic or the base.Does this mean that only one of these Memorex wireless kits can be used at a time, or could several be bought and used?I don't know this, and I'm scared to sink another $20 and test it out.Someone please buy two of these and report back!:-)

4-0 out of 5 stars I absolutely love it!
I love this wireless microphone, but if you go too far away from the reciever, the microphone will turn off. Other than that, there are really no other problems I have had with it. I love being able to take the microphone anywhere without the cords tripping and tangling around me. I hope I helped you make your decision! This microphone set is great; I want to get another one!

1-0 out of 5 stars Another Waste of Money
Brand new, and the Koss UR-15 headphones were putting crackling static into my left ear when the music was at a moderate volume or higher. I tapped the left side with my finger, and it died! This review is my revenge, and your warning. The earbuds that came with it were just as disappointing. They had no bass sound at all, and sounded tinny. Even the cheapest earbuds sound richer. AVOID KOSS!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow!
These have to be some of the best headphones I've ever used. I purchased Ciara's "Goodies" and I have to say, the bass is extreme. Maybe 5x the bass and 3x the treble of other headphones that are similar (like the Sony MDR-V150 or the dissapointing Coby CV models).

Pros:
- Extreme bass.
- Extreme treble.
- Very comfortable.
- Almost no pressure of headphones. Sometimes it doesn't even feel like you're wearing them.
- Long cord, which is great for computers and far away plug-ins.

Cons:
- Hard to tell the difference between left and right of the headphones.
- (not really a con but...) Long cord is sometimes a pain for portable usage, but just don't unwrap the cord much and you're just fine.

Great headphones, and one of the cons isn't even a con at all.

Earbuds (not effective of the 5 stars)

Pros:
- Very portable.

Cons:
- Watered-down sound/Bad Quality.
- Hard to fit in case.
- I can't even use them. You have to shove them all the way in your ear, and I have a cut in my left ear, which means the Koss Earbuds are extremly uncomfortable.
- They don't feel too duarable to me.

Overall: great headphones, bad earbuds
Recommendations: Get these headphones and a CD. Go have fun for once!

1-0 out of 5 stars koss ur-15c
save your bucks from this poor quality product. I bought it @ walmart and one side couldn't work just after one month of use. I would recommend on sony or panasonic.

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst Experience
After using it for 15 mins, there was no sound from the left side of the headphones.
Moral of the story: Delicate and unreliable

5-0 out of 5 stars Good if you press'em
I bought these at wallmart.. was trying to find some phones that would sound very good but wouldnt allow other sounds in and would not break after a few months of use .. my fav before these were sony earbuds. they had damn good base and good overall sound but would get the cloth covers dammaged and then got ear wax clogged after a while and the wires would break .. so i got these .. i hated them at first due to the fact that bass sounded like A$$ .. but after pressing them to my ears with my fingers .. WOW they sounded fantastic and could handle some impressive volume .. so i got me some head bands from the doller store to wear over the speaker sections of these to have them held to my ears while listening.. they sound great that way.. they are cheap and sound great once you press em
