Incredible value
This cymbal set is based on Zildjian's Bronze Technology (ZBT) process.The hi-hat cymbals are superb and worth the price of the entire package. The ride cymbal has a clear "ping" and fast decay, which makes it ideal for jazz and rock.The 14" crash cymbal explodes and has a reasonable sustain, and the bonus 16" crash allows you to accent with a louder, longer sustaining crash.It also has an interesting effect when used as a ride (especially when playing around the bell area).

Overall this is an excellent beginner-to-intermediate set that will make even a cheap drum kit sound great.The included cymbal bag and the 16" crash add value to an already great deal.If you are comparing this to the lower-end Zildjian Planet Z series, get this one.The cost difference is minimal, but the performance difference between the Planet Z cymbals and this ZBT set is significant. ... The Sweetest Sound
I began playing clubs when I was 12. Had to sign a waiver to legally play. Throughout my life, I have played in so many bands at so many places and have gone through so many drums and Zildjian cymbals. I just got my 20" ride today. This is, by far, the best cymbal quality I've ever experienced. I also own an Avedis Zildjian from the late 60's (made in Turkey). This USA Zildjian outranks that cymbal and any other cymbal I've ever heard or played...no contest. Sweet. Perfect. I payed $125 in the 60's for the other.....and $79 something for this one. This is a must buy for any drummer.

Good Starter Cymbal Set
I recently purchased this cymbal pack for my church praise team.I chose it because the name brand was Sabian and it was less expensive than similar packages from Zildjian.I have played it a couple of times and it sounds decent.If you are on a tight budget, this cymbal package will work well for you.It is a Sabian so naturally the sound is good.However, if you can afford it, purchase Sabian AAX cymbals as they sound much better.The bonus for this package is that a Sabian AAX 10" Splash is included.This cymbal is the best one in the package.It is nice to have an effects cymbal, but it isn't necessary if you are just starting.If you can afford a little bit more than $200, purchase the B8 Pro starter set as it sounds significantly better than the this B8 set, but the cost is not prohibitive.Overall this is a good starter cymbal set. ...
